Although it has not been proven, rumors of the cancellation of "One Piece" has skyrocketed and it mentioned of some possible scenarios that might take place in the forthcoming scenes, as noted by the same post.
As for the rumor that "One Piece" is being overshadowed by the unprecedented success of "Tokyo Ghoul," that remains to be seen as well since both anime have taken such strong following in their own different way. Moreover, there are also no supporting details indicating that Luffy and Sanji's legacies are going down the drain.
