Square Enix and Disney has unveiled some interesting information about "Kingdom Hearts 3" through a Play Arts Kai action figure for the game's protagonist Sora. The packaging for the said merchandise included an overview of the game's storyline and its characters.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature the return of beloved game characters such as Sora, as well as Disney's Goofy, Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse. Square Enix and game developers have remained silent about the gaming titles storyline and its features. However, the packaging for a new Sora Play Arts action figure detailed the game's plot.
Twitter user @ArikaMiz shared a snapshot of the item's box on the said social media site that described Sora as a "dashing young man." Having traveled to different worlds, the "Kingdom Hearts" protagonist will embark on another journey to defeat Master Xehanort and his dark minions.

With the impending second Keyblade War, Sora and his allies learned that the outcome of previous battles were exactly what the villainous Xehanort wanted to happen. To emerge as the victors in the upcoming war, Sora will need the help of the seven guardians of light.
Sora, Goofy and Donald will need to travel to different Disney-themed worlds to gather the said guardians and the "Key to Return Hearts." Meanwhile, King Mickey and Riku will go on a separate quest to find a warrior described as a "battle-scarred Keyblade wielder."
Details about the said new warrior were not disclosed. It is also unclear if the "battle-scarred" fighter is a new character or one of the unique Disney personalities that Sora met during previous "Kingdom Hearts" adventures.
Meanwhile, players are expecting to see less "Final Fantasy" characters in the upcoming game "Kingdom Hearts 3." The game's co-director Tai Yasue also shared in an earlier interview with Gamespot that they are looking to introduce a mix of both original and Disney worlds in the said game.
"We are not really coming up with any plans for that," Yasue stated, referring to "Final Fantasy" worlds. "The best thing would be to have Disney Worlds every[one would] recognize and are famous, but that are also distinct and unique."
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is expected for release in 2017 for Xbox One and PS4. Watch the trailer below:
