Hulk Hogan aka Terry Gene Bollea, has been getting a big reprieve following a spell of controversy tied up to a leaked sex video and racial rant. The “Hulkster” could be the next big addition to the "WWE" should Vince McMahon and company decide to do so.
Things have been looking up for Hogan, winning a lawsuit against Gawker Media. The defunct group eventually settled with the "WWE" icon for $31 million and more signs of picking the pieces of his broken career loom.
Brooke Hogan made an interesting revelation recently, saying that her father has been getting calls for a possible stint at Wrestlemania, TMZ reported. To recall, Hulk Hogan was fired by the "WWE" back in 2015 following the racial-related issue and has since kept a low-profile.
Hulk Hogan last served as one of the judges for "WWE Tough Enough" before the walls came tumbling down thanks to that racist slurs, Radar Online reported. All traces of Hogan would, later on, be erased from WWE.com.
Despite the severing of ties, Hogan continues to follow the "WWE". Such is a clear indication that he still want to be part of the same company that is easily associated with him during his prime.
There were previous plans to have Hulk Hogan wrestle one last match in "WWE" before being sent off to retirement. Vince McMahon seemed fine with the idea for as long as Hogan would pass a physical. Things were seemingly going well before the external problems came to play.
If he does re-emerge at Wrestlemania 33, it will be a granted wish for the Hulkster. He has continually sought forgiveness for his actions and co-wrestlers like Scott Hall believe that he will eventually return to the "WWE" scene.
Breadcrumbs of a possible reconciliation have been showing as of late with the "WWE" Network. That includes some of his matches and some commercials being promoted by the WWE, Bleacher Report reported. Could an official announcement of Hulk Hogan’s return be forthcoming?
