The launch date for Sony's Playstation 4 Pro is fast approaching with avid gamers looking forward to enjoy its new and enhanced features. With the ongoing debate of whether developers or players should put importance on a game's resolution versus a smoother gaming experience, the PS4 Pro may provide the solution for the said issue.
With the enhancements that developers have added to the Playstation 4 Pro, also known as the PS4 Pro, one of its most anticipated features is its 4K support for a richer gaming experience. However, some players may have argued that a crisp looking game may not be necessary provided it offers a more consistent gaming experience.
A review posted on Game Fans highlighted how the PS4 Pro may be the console that hardcore gamers have been looking for. Sony's upcoming device may have the solution to balance the needs of a gamer looking for a high frame rate game against players who want an immersive game given its high resolution.
The upcoming console's various visual options allow gamers to choose graphical settings that they like. Players can opt for an up-scaled resolution setting but with lower frame rate numbers or vice-versa. Several gaming companies have even deployed updates or revised versions to some of their popular gaming titles to take advantage of the PS4 Pro's features.
"Rise of the Tomb Raider" is one of the games that adapted several graphical settings for the upcoming PS4 Pro console. Other gaming titles include "The Witness" where gamers can opt to prioritize having a smooth gaming experience versus rich visuals.
Meanwhile, Sony has unveiled a list of games that have been optimized for the new PS4 Pro console. In a blogpost posted on Playstation's official website, more than 30 gaming titles have added PS4 Pro support such as "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," "Battlefield 1," "Titanfall 2" and more.
The PS4 Pro has been slated for release on Nov. 10. Learn more about the console in the clip below:
