After teases on the official Call of Duty site, rumors, and a leaked poster, Activision has finally confirmed Call of Duty: Ghosts as the next title in the COD franchise, due out for a multitude of systems on Nov. 5th.
The company sent out a promotional poster to IGN, seen above, as their choice of a official announcement. Those who pre-order the game will get Call of Duty:Ghosts weapon camo that can be used in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Pre-orders are being taken at Best Buy, Amazon and GameStop.
If the masked man and obvious title is any indication, the game will likely focus on Simon "Ghost" Riley, one of Modern Warfare 2's protagonists who met his end at the hands of General Shepherd. Of course, this is just a theory. We're still waiting on Activision to provide official details.
UPDATE: Call of Duty: Ghosts will be showing off gameplay at the next Xbox reveal on May 21, the official site says.
