PlayStation 4 Pro Latest News & Update: Framerate Locked; No More Dropping Frames
Framerate is the number of images rendered by the game every second. A lot of things happen on the screen when playing a virtual game. This causes the hardware to have a hard time processing all the information. This leads to dropping frames when the hardware compensates by pulling back processing horsepower and the game slows down. However, with the PlayStation 4 Pro, there is enough power to stabilize the framerate. Hence, games can be played faster and better.
