Rumors suggest that The Vulture is the primary main villain in the movie together with the Tinkerer who was speculated to be the man behind the Vulture's flying suit. The movie was announced to have three main villains, but the third one is yet to be confirmed. It is possible that one of the two secondary antagonist Shocker and Scorpion.
Several Spiderman movies were released before but Spiderman Homecoming will be Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) first movie as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe where all different movies are connected while being in the same universe and time. This new Spiderman's first appearance is in the movie Captain America: Civil War. He was recruited by Tony Stark to join his team.
What plot of the story should we expect in the new Spiderman Homecoming movie? Marvel hass not made any announcement for this issue. They are aware that because of the first Spiderman movies before, fans already know the life story of Peter Parker. Marvel will probably make this film on a different angle from the other Spiderman movies. There is a big chance that it will focus on the time after Spiderman fought together with Iron Man team during the Civil War.
Amazon has recently updated their site to debut a page of a comic book named Spider-Man: Homecoming Prelude. The paperback issue is scheduled to release on June 20, 2017 ahead of the actual film's premiere in July. There is no announcement from Marvel regarding the details of the prequel comic.
Robert Downey Jr is one of the cast of Spiderman Homecoming for the obvious role as Tony Stark. His appearance with the cast gave a big hint for the plot of the film. Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, she's also who played the same role in the Captain America: Civil War. Other names in the cast include Donald Glover, Jacob Batalon, Laura Harrier, and Tony Revolori.
