"The Affair" Season 3 will show the characters dealing with the aftermath of the events that transpired in the second season. Noah (Dominic West), Alison (Ruth Wilson), Helen (Maura Tierney) and Cole (Joshua Jackson) will all be forced to pick up the pieces after surviving the consequences of their decisions in Season 2.
"The Affair" Season 3 will definitely focus on the consequent effects of the illicit affair between Noah and Alison. Additionally, there have been reports saying that the upcoming season will be introducing new characters into the mix to bring a lot more conflict.
New Characters, New Drama
It has been recently reported that Whitney (Julia Goldani Telles), the oldest child of Noah and Helen, will have another love interest in "The Affair" Season 3. This follows the shady death of Scotty in "The Affair" Season 2.
Jonathan Cake, who is known for his role Chuck Vance in "Desperate Housewives," will be portraying Furkat in "The Affair" Season 3. His character will be a photographer based in Brooklyn who will be Whitney's new love interest. His closeness with the girl will reportedly cause a lot of tension within the Solloway household.
Reports also confirm that French actress Juliette Le Gall will then be playing Noah's new love interest. Her character, Irene Jacob, will be stirring things up for "The Affair" Season 3. It is interesting to see how the relationship of Noah and Alison had been affected by three years of jail time.
The third season of "The Affair" will be set three years after Noah is sent to prison. While viewers have the knowledge that he did not commit the crime he was accused of, he will certainly be haunted by the ghosts of his past. "The Affair" Season 3 is set to premiere on November 20, Sunday on Showtime.
