The Undertaker is finally making his way back to the WWE scene and all that happens on the 900th episode of SmackDown. All of that goes down on Nov. 15 as the “Dead Man” embarks on a new storyline what may likely radiate to Wrestlemania 33 in 2017.
Undertaker reinforcing Kane against Wyatt Family?
Looking at the current storylines, there are two suggested scenarios for the Undertaker to take part in, Bleacher Report reported. One is the feud involving Kane against Randy Orton and the Wyatt family.
As most know, Kane teamed up with Orton recently against the Wyatt Family. While it all made no sense at first, the twist came when Randy Orton turned on his tag partner. As a whole, this storyline was more about Orton joining the Wyatts, a move that is of course seen as a psychological dish with the “Viper’s” feud with Bray Wyatt.
The Undertaker could reinforce Kane against the new-look Wyatts although this storyline may not appeal to the fans that much. Undertaker and Kane already did this storyline before (WWE Survivor Series 2016) against the Wyatt family and the only change is the addition of Randy Orton.
Shane McMahon vs. Undertaker 2?
If not that storyline, the Undertaker could be called out by WWE SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon, the Wrestling Observer reported. Both had that storied match at Wrestlemania 32 which the “Dead Man” won. The highlight of that match was the death-defying leap of Shane-O-Mac atop the Hell in a Cell structure, ironically the last time WWE fans saw the Undertaker.
It could be another lopsided matchup but may be one good enough to get the Undertaker back in shape. He is expected to be back in time for Wrestlemania 33, which could be his last ride. Among the potential opponents include John Cena or even Goldberg – assuming he goes beyond the alleged one-match deal happening at Survivor Series against Brock Lesnar.
