Online retail giant Amazon has listed EA Sports' FIFA 14 for a Sept. 24 release and has added PlayStation Vita as a supported platform. The publisher had recently announced the popular title in its latest football series for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The Amazon listing, as noted by VG247, has been replete with details that make it look quite convincing.
"The portable effort is listed as releasing on September 24, at $40 - significantly cheaper than the $60 the retailer wants for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions," the report states.
Meanwhile, PlayStation Life Style reports that Polish retailer Ultima has listings for PS2 and PSP versions of FIFA 14. Ultima has been in the news for correctly predicting the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary edition recently.
"We'll put the odds of this happening on the lower end of the spectrum, but you never know, they could be included in those additional platforms," the report notes.
It should be noted that FIFA 13 came out on practically every platform including 3DS, PSP, PS2, Wii and Wii U in addition to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The Amazon listing has since been removed.
