When "Final Fantasy 15" release date arrives later this month, the one thing players will most likely notice is the lack of any playable female character in Square Enix's latest title. However, if speculations are correct, that little problem would soon be solved via a "Final Fantasy 15" DLC that is already currently in production.
'Final Fantasy 15' Gameplay: Playable Characters Will Be All-Male Initially
Sorry boys but when "Final Fantasy 15" release date comes later this month, there will be no sexy female playable characters waiting for gamers. Apparently, the game will have an all male cast when it releases, reports Rocket News 24.
The explanation given is that the upcoming "Final Fantasy 15" gameplay and storyline will focus on Prince Noctis and his tree traveling companions who are also males. As such, the main game will have an all-male playable characters cast which include Noctis and his companions Prompto, Gladiolus and Ignis.
'Final Fantasy XV' DLC To Introduce Female Playable Characters?
Fortunately, this lack of female playable characters might be remedied soon according to speculations. Apparently, a "Final Fantasy 15" DLC is already in the works even as the main game is yet to release. This DLC, however, is expected to introduce a female playable character or two into the game.
Haruyoshi Sawatari, producer of the upcoming "Final Fantasy 15" DLC, recently spoke with Juexvideo, a French gaming site. In the interview, Haruyoshi was asked if the coming DLC will be introducing Luna, Noctis' fiance, as a playable character along with another female character Cindy, a mechanic.
Sawatari's reply was both hopeful and non-committal. Apparently, Square Enix is not opposed to adding a playable female character or two to spice up the "Final Fantasy 15" gameplay but Sawatari emphasized that there should be a demand for the team to consider adding them.
'Final Fantasy 15' Release Date
Fans of the Square Enix action role-playing franchise won't have long to wait to get their hands on the latest title. "Final Fantasy 15" release date is slated this November 29, 2016 and will be available for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
