Dragonball Xenoverse 2 is a Role Playing Game (RPG) developed by Dimps and published by Namco Bandai Entertainment based on the anime and manga giant the Dragonball. It is a sequel to Dragonball Xenoverse that was released last year.
In terms of gameplay, Dragonball Xenoverse 2 is similar to its game predecessor. The game setting is mostly set in a series of three dimensional arenas mostly modeled after notable locations of the Dragonball universe with its central hub being an expanded version of Dragonball Xenoverse'sToki Toki city, referred to as Canton City. Game creators report that Canton City will be 7 times larger than Toki Toki City. Players are able to freely traverse this new city, and in some areas may have the capacity for flight, however this will only be available upon unlock instead of players having it early.
Going deeper upon further review of the game, Dragonball Xenoverse2 features character customization. Players are able to choose five races established within both anime and game universe- the Humans, Saiyans, Namekians, Humans, Demons and Freeza's race. Players also has a more active role in the game story. As some decisions will be made by them Multiplayers can support 300 players at once. Training schools are also made available where players can train for various skill sets.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 takes place after the events of the first game as the player joins the Time Patrol as history begins to change anew. The player has to fight their way to correct the flow of time and also make right choices as the story progresses.
In line with this, game developer Namco Bandai released Update1.02 for Dragonball Xenoverse 2 which will consume 700MB of computer memory and will improve various game specifications like lag and synch issues during play. The developer also changed default settings in exciting quick matches and search, shortened load time, battle balancing and other bug fixes.
Shortly, after Xenoverse 2's release, the game developers announced the first patch update will go live and they are working on future updates and patches. For Steam users missing Downloadable Content (DLC) that includes Dark Goku, Future Trunks and other enhancements. Controller and lip synching issues are also being addressed.
