In one of the recent post of child actress playing Eleven, Millie Bobby Brown, on Instagram hints her possible return in the upcoming season of "Stranger Things" Season 2. The post was a photo with actor David Harbour, playing Sheriff Hopper, and comes with a caption "Shhhhh @dkharbour don't say a word! #s02 #strangerthings @netflix @strangerthingstv"
Fans of the series are speculating that it could mean Eleven is returning in the "Stranger Things" Season 2. Although representatives of Netflix has declined to give any comments, sources claim Eleven will definitely be back in season 2 despite earlier reports that she will not return in the series.
It is assumed that Sheriff Hopper has something to do with Eleven's return. Fans believe that this theory is supported by the clues left in the last episode in the last season of "Stranger Things". Sheriff Hopper is seen leaving food from their Christmas party in the woods which means he has not given up hope on Eleven and would do anything to save her just like what he did for Will.
It can be remembered that child actress' father was reported to have huge demands from the showrunners that ultimately made them decide not to include Brown in the "Stranger Things" Season 2 . Although there was never confirmation of this rumor nor did the showrunners said Eleven will not return, most have assumed it was true.
If this rumor is true, Eleven will be joining the reported new actors joining the "Stranger Things" Season 2 namely Max, Roman, and Billy. Max is described as a 13-year-old girl who is tough and confident. Her stepbrother, Billy, must be muscular and act like he is a 17-year-old overconfident boy. As for Roman, he could be a male or a female character of any nationality but must be between 30 to 38 years old.
