The classic "Beauty and the Beast" has hit cinemas worldwide 25 years ago. It is a tale as old as time that has left a mark on history. Disney is now making a live-action movie that has thrilled fans. With the rising excitement, Disney recently released pictures that reveal the cast.

According to Broadwayworld, the "Beauty and the Beast" that first hit Broadway on April 18, 1994, starred Susan Egan played as Belle and Terrence Mann played as the Beast. Now, their characters will be portrayed by different actors that are revealed by the pictures posted at Entertainment Weekly. Harry Potter's Emma Watson will play the role of Belle while Downtown Abbey's Dan Stevens will play the role of the Beast.
"Beauty and the Beast" also stars several awarded actors. Belle's father, Maurice, is played by Kevin Kline; Gaston, the villager who woos Belle, is played by Luke Evans; Lumiere, the candelabra, is played by Ewan McGregor; and Le Fou, Gaston's aide-de-camp, is played by Josh Gad. The cast also includes Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, Audra McDonald as the wardrobe, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as the feather duster, Emma Thompson as the teapot, and Ian McKellen as the mantel clock.

All of the casts of the upcoming "Beauty and the Beast" look remarkable. This includes Kevin Kline who looks wiser with his very strong beard and mustache making. Lumiere also looks more human with its Nutcracker candlestick version. Plumette is also different from the original as it is now a half bird and a half feather duster.
As for the main cast, Belle and the Beast, both Emma and Dan look extraordinary. Emma Watson was stunning with Belle's signature yellow gown. She also looks good in the blue and white dress. Dan Steven's wardrobe is more varied than the original. His facial expressions, gestures and voice, paired with a digital makeover, all work very well.

According to Blastr, "Beauty and the Beast" will be released on March 17, 2017, in US theaters. Its first trailer was released last May. However, the character was missing in action. Expect for a full trailer that will be released soon.
