The highly-anticipated VR headset is ready to hit the market and will definitelybe a game changer among other VR headsets. Google has announced their Daydream View VR Headset will be released to stores on November 10.
Another VR headset is about to launch this November 10 by a tech-giant Google, called Daydream View or known as Daydream View VR Headset. The announcement was released November 1st by Mike Jazayeri, director of Google VR's product management, on their website.
According to the website, Daydream View VR Headset can be used on any Daydream-ready phone like Pixel. Daydream View will allow users to have an incredible experience in virtual reality like watching their favorite movies and playing games like never before.
Daydream View VR Headset Offers More
Aside from gaming, Daydream View VR headset can be used on other things that people love to do. It can be used as your personal cinema by streaming in available VR content on HULU exclusively for Daydream View.
In addition, if people are into YouTube, Daydream View VR headset can search for videos and watch it on a big virtual screen from top creators. Also, it can be used in Google Play Movies and watch any film and TV shows with a virtual theater.
Not only that, exploring new worlds is now possible with a Daydream View VR headset. If users are into Science, they can use Star Chart VR, which will allow people to discover the solar system in a real-time space simulation. The VR headset can also access Street View to visit and explore 70 countries in the comfort of their homes.
Google's Daydream View VR Headset is Definitely Different
As the other available VR headsets like Vive and Oculus Rift are expensive, it also require good and expensive PCs for those headsets to run. But, with Daydream View VR headset, it will only cost $79 depending on the location and it only requires a Daydream ready-phone like Pixel.
However, according to Tech Radar, while Daydream View VR headset can be purchased below $100, it is still likely to be expensive as it still needs to have a Daydream ready-phone. Unfortunately, this feature can only be available to an expensive phone.
Meanwhile, Daydream View VR headset is expected to directly compete with Samsung Gear VR headset, which is also under $100. But, the design and features of Daydream View VR headset are more advanced compared to Samsung's VR headset.
