Netflix recently dropped the six episodes of "Black Mirror" Season 3 on Oct. 21. As fans can easily binge-watch the whole series in one seating, they are now excited to see "Black Mirror" Season 4.
The show's avid fans now have the reason to celebrate as "Black Mirror" Season 4 is already called for a renewal! Netflix already confirmed the coming of the show's new installment with, not just six episodes, but 12!
With that, the Charlie-Brooker-created TV series producers are teasing what in store in "Black Mirror" Season 4. In fact, the show's executive producer Annabel Jones confirmed at the London Film Festival that "Black Mirror" Season 4 is set to have more episodes compared to its predecessors.
"When you're ready to do the next series you do [it]," Jones said, per Radio Times. "Thankfully Netflix loved the show, stepped in and commissioned six films. So that allows us to play out on a bigger canvas, and take more risks, explore worlds without destabilizing the 'Black Mirror sensibility.'
Meanwhile, according to Mirror Online, the latest news is that the veteran actress Jodie Foster will be directing an episode of the show starring Rosemarie DeWitt. It has been known that "Black Mirror" is featuring high-profiles performers, like Joe Wright and Dan Trachtenberg, and actors like Hayley Atwell, Domhnall Gleeson, Jon Hamm and Bryce Dallas Howard.
With the inclusion of Jodie Foster and Rosemarie DeWitt in "Black Mirror" Season 4, it will surely be a hit! This will be the second time "Black Mirror" will be seen on Netflix, after it signed a deal taking the show from Channel 4.
The streaming service has yet to announce the exact release date of "Black Mirror" Season 4. But, it is set to start its production later this year and is expected to be out in 2017 on Netflix.
