Android has been keeping up with the changing mobile platforms and their OS is about to make a big leap from the previous one. Android 7.0 Nougat arrived in a time when mobile phones were competing for the highest spot; a rather timely launching of the new operating system. But as the OS start to hop from mobile device to the other, the question remains on how long will it be before it arrives on the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S7.
According to some news online, Samsung has previously confirmed that, they will adapt the Android 7.0 Nougat OS in their latest models mainly the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. Interestingly, the announcement also indicated that, it could happen in the fourth quarter of 2016; November is part of that quarter.
Fans will surely know when the Android 7.0 Nougat has arrived. Apparently, a notification to update the software will appear on the devices of fans who already have the models. Under T-Mobile's list of devices that will receive the new update, Samsung models include Galaxy Note 7, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and the Galaxy S7 Edge.
The inclusion of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, despite its confirmation, have no specific release date. Samsung on the other hand has been working hard on putting their latest flagship under the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. HNGN reported that, even if Samsung cannot work on delivering the new OS to their latest models, consumers will still be able to experience the Android 7.0 Nougat through its beta version.
