"Beauty And The Beast" have taught kids and adults alike to look beyond a person's appearance. In the original story, Belle was imprisoned by the Beast in his castle. But Belle was able to see past his beastly appearance and found a kind heart and soul trapped within.
Meanwhile, Gaston is a hunter who wants Belle for himself and wants to kill the Beast. Rumors started that Belle might be torn between the Beast and Gaston when Luke Evans, who plays Gaston's character, announced that his character in "Beauty and The Beast" will be larger than life.
Gaston's character is described as brawns without a brain. His ego seems too big for him to handle. Luke Evans said that indeed he has a fun time portraying the character in "Beauty And The Beast."
Viewers are used to watching movies with a little bit of deviation from the original story. However, fans of "Beauty And The Beast" still want the romantic love story of Belle and the Beast to stay.
"Beauty And The Beast" comes after Disney's remake of popular fairy tales like "The Jungle Book," "Maleficent," "Cinderella" and "Alice In Wonderland." Every detail of the movie seemed straight forward from the original animation except for the songs that were included in the Broadway.
