'Green Man Gaming': Sorry for the Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 Broken Keys

Green Man Gaming customers have been having trouble getting the codes for Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 and most of them took their frustration on Reddit over the weekend after receiving broken keys of the games.

According to Eurogamer, the codes that the customers bought were invalid and the keys as part of the pre-order simply ‘failed to turn up.' A Reddit user bought two copies of Battlefield 1 to supposedly play over the weekend but one code worked and the other was invalid. "I already requested a ticket but I haven't got any response whatsoever," he wrote.

Another user bought a Titanfall 2 key who then received an email to confirm the purchase on the release date, Oct. 28 but as of Sunday, Oct. 30 he has yet to receive the CD key. "I have purchased a product, received nothing, and have no way to contact the vendor," he wrote. "I will never be purchasing from GMG again. This is a horrible experience."

Green Man Gaming, maker of the games, has issued a statement to apologize to its customers who are having trouble getting the codes of the games. "We'd like to sincerely apologize to all those customers who we've been slow to respond to," the statement read.

GMG also added that the demand for the two games on the store "has been unprecedented." The company says it is also bringing in additional customer service staff to help them fix the issue.

"We recognise that it can be frustrating for some of our pre-order customers who were not able to play their games immediately but we're working through our tickets as fast as we can to ensure we help all our customers with their queries," GMG also said in its statement.

GMG has had issues with keys before. The same thing happened to Overwatch when it was launched in May of this year as well as Assassin's Creed Syndicate last year.
