WWE Hell in a Cell hardly gave anyone to rave about aside from seeing guys like Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Rusev punishing themselves inside the steel structure.
Charlotte and Sasha Banks also got it on with the former reclaiming the Women's Championship in a punishing match. It was the only other title change outside the Cruiserweight title won by Brian Kendrick over TJ Perkins, WWE.com reported.
No Triple H sighted
Contrary to the expectations of many, there was no interference from the WWE COO Triple H at WWE Hell in a Cell. Jericho seemed to have the bases covered as he helped out Kevin Owens retain the title. They also gave Rollins a beating which could radiate to WWE Raw.
When will the “Jeri-KO” end?
Despite controversies in the last WWE Raw, the two somehow managed to co-exist. There is no telling when this partnership may last though something has got to give soon. In fact, there are some who believe that the two may end up facing each other soon for the title though Owens may likely retain the title.
But then again, it could change hands even for a short while to give Jericho a short title reign, Bleacher Report reported. Believe it or not, Y2J has been gaining quite a bit of fan following for his comedic act. Surprisingly, he has been in the WWE for quite some time though the belief is that he will be leaving once 2017 comes in.
To make it happen, it is likely that Jericho will want a shot at Owens’ title and this will be the beginning of the end. It seems to be the plausible alternative though it begs to ask what happens to Rollins.
Had Triple H appeared, it would have set the records straight. Then again, WWE Survivor Series won’t be happening until Nov. 20, meaning the WWE COO could re-emerge and give Rollins a fight the WWE fans have been long waiting for.
