Blizzard has been teasing the hacker Sombra for "Overwatch" for quite some time now, but fans have yet to see the hacker join the roster of players. With teaser after teaser from the game studios, it is now believed that Sombra will actually be a DLC for November.
Clues hinting of a Sombra update are all over the official "Overwatch" website and fans of the game have pieced them together. Redditors managed to go through the message written in Mayan language and converted it into a morse code that led them to a page with a message from the character. It was written in Spanish but was translated into: "The moment has come. The emails have exposed the truth about Portero. The upraising has started and the people of Mexico is with us. It is the moment to Strike. We will take over his 11/1 event and we will strike him. I need you to do one thing."
From this clue, it is believed that "Overwatch" Sombra update will arrive on Nov.1. Players will still need to discover ways to carry out the attack, but according to Express, it's likely that the backstory of Sombra will be revealed on Nov. 1 as well. It is also believed that Sombra will officially make her first appearance on that date. This also makes sense since Nov. 1 is the Day of the Dead and the event is represented by sugar skulls, which also happens to be one of the clues for Sombra that was previously revealed.
If Sombra won't make it to "Overwatch" on the aforementioned date, fans could still possibly see her next month. Blizzard is hosting its Blizzcon from Nov. 4 to Nov. 5 and it is widely believed that the character might also make her appearance there. It is expected that the game studio will reveal more about the hacker hero during the event.
