Pokemon Go Features a Halloween Treat Making its way to the Top Once Again

Pokemon Go is once again topping the game charts after the release of its Halloween update, = at least in terms of the amount of money it is raking in. Pokemon Go reclaims its dominance over other game titles such as Mobile Strike, Clash Royale and Game of War based on sales ranking on ITunes. This is after it fell on on the 51st spot on the free game category and 10th on the top Grossing game charts prior to the update release as reported by Nintendo everything.

Pokemon Go is showing the same resurgence that is also seen on its ranking on Google Play as it is currently number 2 over all in terms of revenues and profits, behind only Mobile Strike. It places number 7 on Google's top free games chart, An important note that should be taken into account is that the iTunes Free category also includes social media apps such as Facebook, Youtube, and Messenger.

Pokemon Go developer Niantic never revealed how much revenue the game has brought for them in detail. The company has not disclosed the micro transactions of the game but a report says they made $600 million in the span of just 90 days. Reports also added that  no mobile game has ever made that money in such a short time.

The Pokemon Go  game spiked back up when its Halloween feature was in full effect. The Halloween feature is the introduction of Ghost types Pokemon which includes Drowzee, Gastly, Gengar, Golbat, Haunter, Hypno, and Zubat. The update can be enjoyed for the whole month of November. In retrospect, Niantic also took time to apologize for the flaws that the game may have.

The  Pokemon Go Halloween update is expected to last for the entire duration of the season October 26- November 1. During this time players can enjoy double the amount of Candy each you catch, hatch and transfer Pokemon.
