Square Enix took the opportunity during Paris Games Week to showcase new images featuring Guard Form Shield. According to UPI, the images also show the main character Sora and his new abilities that will help him combat The Heartless. Square Enix is still keeping mum on details about "Kingdom Hearts 3," specifically its release date, but they did tease two images for the new game.
The new images that feature Guard Form Shield show how "Kingdom Hearts 3" Sora has a new Drive Form in the form of the aforementioned character. These Drive Forms first debuted back in "Kingdom Hearts 2," wherein Sora is outfitted in new garb and upgraded abilities for each fighting style.
The new images that feature Guard Form Shield also show Sora on Mount Olympus, a Hercules world that was previously seen in "Kingdom Hearts 3" trailers. How Sora will find his way to Mount Olympus is something fans will have to wait and see for, as "Kingdom Hearts 3" still does not have a release date attached to it.
Meanwhile, IGN also reports that the PlayStation 4 Remaster Collection of "Kingdom Hearts 3" has also been announced. Square Enix will be releasing a PlayStation 4 Remaster Collection, which includes "Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories," "Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days," "Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix," and "Kingdom Hearts Re:coded." This is on top of the polished and improved versions of the "Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMix" and "2.5 ReMix," which are arriving next year.
