Treyarch managed to pull together a cast of actors from some of the greatest gangster movies under the sun, all for the purpose of blowing away zombies in America's most infamous prison. We've already got a quick peek at the new game mode, "Mob of the Dead" that's coming in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's" newest DLC, Uprising, but watch the trailer below, and you'll get a much better appreciation for what these prisoners are up against.
Given the setting, "Mob of the Dead" is obviously a period piece, but it remains to be seen if the weapons will reflect the times. Still, it's a welcome change to get some icons of cinema take on the undead as opposed to various political figures like in "Five" in the first "Black Ops" game. Watching Richard Nixon blast on zombies was great and all, but I'll take Ray Liotta and Michael Madsen over Kennedy and Castro any day.
Uprising arrives on Xbox 360 April 16th, set to arrive on other platforms at a later date.
