Before her stint on "The View," Raven-Symoné was a Disney darling thanks to her family-oriented comedy show, "That's So Raven." Her character was witty, sassy and totally relatable to the young viewers. The end of "That's So Raven" was a sad day for the viewers and never in their wildest imagination did they expect for a sequel after almost nine years.
'That's So Raven' Sequel Plot Details
Aside from reprising her role as Raven Baxter, Raven-Symoné will reportedly be an executive producer for the Disney show. "That's So Raven" sequel is reportedly already on the preliminary casting stage.
Of course, a major time jump for "That's So Raven" sequel is expected, considering that Raven Baxter is a teenager no more. Raven-Symoné will reportedly play the role of a divorced mom with a son and a daughter (both in their pre-teens) living with her.
'That's So Raven' Sequel - Mind Reading Lives On
"That's So Raven" TV series was a big hit not only for their funny scenes and punchlines but also because of Raven-Symoné's excellent, comical portrayal of someone who can see the future. In the upcoming "That's So Raven" sequel, one of Raven's kids has reportedly inherited her ability to see the future. However, it is still undisclosed if it's her son or daughter who has inherited the futuristic gift.
Adam Bonnett, Disney's EVP in Original Programming has reportedly expressed the trust that Disney has given to Raven-Symoné. The performance of the former "The View" host was considered to be timeless which was one of the driving forces for Disney to consider producing a "That's So Raven" sequel.

The upcoming "That's So Raven" sequel is expected to cater to and entertain a new set of audience in another generation. Disney is reportedly very excited for the revival of "That's So Raven," with little Raven Baxter all grown up raising her own kids. As of writing, no air date has been assigned to "That's So Raven" sequel.
