NS America recently announced that "God Wars: Future Past" Limited Edition will be coming to North America and Europe soon. The "God Wars: Future Past" collector's edition is currently available for pre-order at the NIS America Online Store.
Gematsu reported that the "God Wars: Future Past" Limited Edition is priced at $79.99 for PlayStation 4, and $74.99 for PS Vita. The package will include a collector's box, the main "God Wars: Future Past" game, an art book, soundtrack, a 27"x37" cloth poster, and a round 3.5" pocket mirror.
Siliconera wrote that 13 years before the events of "God Wars: Future Past," Queen Tsukuyomi, the mother of Kaguya, tried to stop several disasters from happening in the country of Mizuho. To prevent catastrophe, she had to sacrifice her daughter, Princess Sakuya, to Mount Fuji. She also placed Kaguya, her other daughter, inside a bamboo seal to be sacrificed in the future if necessary.
Before "God Wars: Future Past" began, Kintaro managed to find Kaguya, and the two of them leave together, trying to learn more about the Izumo, Fuji and Hyuga nations that are battling over the country. They also wish to know why Queen Tsukuyomi was willing to sacrifice her daughters. During their journey, Kintaro and Kaguya will build an army of soldiers that can handle over 30 jobs, use over 250 weapons, and learn over 400 skills.
"God Wars: Future Past" is a tactical role-playing game that features themes and imagery based Japanese folklore and combat. "God Wars: Future Past" players can immerse in the untold history of Japan, as well as experience traditional tales from the perspective of three warring nations.
"God Wars: Future Past" boasts of beautiful anime cinematics, deep tactical combat sequences, various character classes and a rich and engaging storyline. "God Wars: Future Past" will feature original Japanese and new English voices and English subtitles.
"God Wars: Future Past" by Kadakawa Games will arrive in both digital and physical versions. The game will be available on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on Feb. 23, 2017 in Japan and early in 2017 in North America and Europe.
