Warner Bros., in collaboration with DC Comics, is about to reveal the film adaptation of "Justice League Dark." The superhero team will be the new addition to the DC Universe coming next year.
It has been said that Matt Ryan is about to be back to reprise his role as Constantine in the coming "Justice League Dark" movie. However, what will surprise the comic fans is the appearance of Batman that will be voiced by Jason O'Mara, iDigitalTimes reported.
The coming of Batman in "Justice League Dark" was first proposed by the movie producer James Tucker at a New York Comic-Con press roundtable. "He represents the everyman who doesn't believe in magic or doesn't want to believe in magic. The audience who is not familiar with these characters needs a touchstone to pull them into the story," he said.
"And for Batman, for good or ill, everyone knows Batman. They know who he is, how he thinks and what he's all about. So for him, they follow everyone else on this journey," he added. Tucker assured that every character in "Justice League Dark" has their own distinctive roles that they won't be dominated by Batman.
Meanwhile, Blastr added that that every superhero that will be seen in "Justice League Dark" will be all fitted to explore the "wider animated world." Matt Ryan himself expressed his excitement to portray Constantine once again and reveal his connection to other superheroes in the movie.
Jason O'Mara's addition, on the other hand, in "Justice League Dark" as Batman will be a "shake-up" to the upcoming animated film. However, he cleared that his character won't be too closed to other supernatural heroes.
As Tucker puts it, Bruce Wayne will be the "everyman" in the story to introduce fans to the "Justice League Dark" world. "Justice League Dark" is set to be released in 2017.
