The co-executive producer of "Outlander" Season 3, Matthew B. Roberts, gamely answered fans question in a Q&A on his Twitter page. The writer revealed that viewers might shed a lot of tears in the coming new installment.
Roberts continuously teased the happenings behind-the-scenes stints of Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Frase (Caitriona Balfe) from "Outlander" Season 3 on his Twitter page. As fans are greatly enticed with his teasers, he decided to answer their queries that made them more excited.
One fan told Robert that they were all exhausted with the tears they've cried from "Outlander" Season 2. However, the producer responded with an advice that they should be hydrated and get ready for more tear-jerking scenes in "Outlander" Season 3.
He even hinted that one of the most emotional scenes fans are about to see in "Outlander" Season 3 is actually his favorite. Of course, fans get more tormented asking Robert what particular stint is that, but he simply said that he will not put that in "print." With that, they quickly assumed that it is the Print Shop scene from Diana Gabaldon's book "Voyager."
Meanwhile, in an interview with Vanity Fair, Sam Heughan talked about the different look Jaime is about to sport in "Outlander" Season 3. The Barbour model cleared that he is not bound to spill the beans, but everything is in the book.
Jaime, indeed, will be seen a little aged in "Outlander" Season 3 as well as other characters. In fact, he revealed that there will be a lot of scenes that he is wearing makeup. As the next chapter of the British-American TV series will start with Jaime away with Claire, the actor was asked what it is like to film without Caitriona Balfe.
"Yeah. Honestly, it's like having a death in the family. Well, I don't know, I mean, it's just like a different show. It's hard to separate yourself from the character," Sam Heughan said. "It's always hard when we're apart, actually, because she's a great person, great to come to work with, and a very good actress."
