Miley Cyrus got candid about her engagement with Liam Hemswoth on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". Cyrus returned on Thursday after recently taking over the show when Ellen was sick. "The Voice" Season 11 judge confirmed that she was wearing the ring that Hemsworth gave her in their previous in engagement in 2013.
When Ellen DeGeneres asked Miley Cyrus about her engagement ring, "The Voice" Season 11 judge said that it's very weird because it's real jewelry, although most of her jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy. Miley Cyrus sometimes replaces the ring with an actual unicorn or a "Looney Tunes" character.
Miley Cyrus then explained that even Liam Hemsworth asked about why she would replace the engagement ring with child-like accessories. "Well, this isn't my aesthetic but I'll wear it 'cause you love me," Miley Cyrus said in response. Ellen joked back and said that Liam could have saved a lot of money giving her a gummy bear ring.
"The Voice" Season 11 coach has kept her relationship with Liam Hemsworth private after rekindling the flame after they first broke off the engagement. According to Fox News, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth attended their first public event together at the Variety Power of Women Luncheon ever since their previous split. They've also made appearances on each other's social media accounts.
Miley Cyrus has been confirmed to return for "The Voice" Season 13, but skipping season 12 where she will be temporarily replaced by resident "The Voice" judge Blake Shelton's girlfriend, Gwen Stafani. Paul Telegdy, President of Alternative and Reality Group for NBC Entertainment said that with they are excited for Miley Cyrus' return for "The Voice" Season 13. Telegdy added that they are also ecstatic about the unmatched musical know-how and talent coming together in the coming seasons.
"The Voice" Season 11 is currently on their Knock Out rounds, where Miley Cyrus swoons over the performance of the 20-year-old Florida native Christian Cuevas, who recently sang "Superstar" by Luther Vandross. Miley Cyrus, together with Alicia Keys, Adame Levine and Blake Shelton will continue the Knock Out rounds on Monday and Tuesday on NBC.
