The third and final season of the drama series "The Leftovers" will come next year and regular viewers of the show cannot wait to find out what is in store for them. Fans expect that the episodes for Season 3 will be gripping and moving.
On its official Facebook page, "The Leftovers" team has been encouraging the public to watch the previous two seasons of the show. This is in anticipation for the coming of "The Leftovers" Season 3 in 2017. They also want to entice those who have not watched the show to catch all episodes.
Video for the fans
Last October 14, "The Leftovers" co-creator Damon Lindelof also made a special video to remember the date that first departure happened. He was supposed to answer all fan questions about the show but chose not to give answers on what the departure means. Lindelof ended up singing the theme song for Season 1 using a cat sound.
He also earlier revealed how he wanted to go about with the finale of the show saying he want it to be his best work. "Even if we fall flat on our faces and everybody hates it, it's better than hedging or trying to be all things to all people or saying we're going to be one thing and then at the last minute basically cut bait and be another thing," Lindelof added. He noted that what people wants now is to be consistent in telling the story.
Filming in Texas and Australia
It has also been confirmed that actress Lindsay Duncan will be part of "The Leftovers" Season 3 though her complete role and appearances on the show remains unannounced. The team of show creators Lindelof and Tom Perrotta has reported finished filming in Texas and has moved to Australia to continue production. Are you excited for the last season of "The Leftovers?"
