"The Elder Scrolls 6" fans want to know if the action-packed role-playing game is finally happening or not. With the news of "Skyrim Special Edition," gamers became more aware that Bethesda has not released any updates regarding the sixth installment.
So, what are the chances that "The Elder Scrolls 6" will actually happen considering that according to reports, the Bethesda game in focus does not officially exist yet? Well, chances are good so far.
"The Elder Scrolls 5" has sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. Evidently, it is a success knowing that the series is already 20 years old. Knowing the numbers of players of the "Skyrim," Bethesda will hopefully pursue "The Elder Scrolls 6."
Pete Hines, Bethesda's vice president, said that they want everything they do to be noteworthy. Other publisher might be thinking of a "Skyrim 2" already, but Hines said that it is not the direction they want to take with "The Elder Scrolls 6."
However, some fans are confused if "The Elder Scrolls 6" is really happening or not. See, Bethesda is looking for a quest designer with an experience in "The Elder Scrolls" construction set. Why would the publisher hire an experienced designer if it has no plans to roll out the sixth installment in the near future?
The Bethesda team has been frank in saying that they are not currently working on "The Elder Scrolls 6," but they simply said that eventually it will happen. The tweet added that they do not want to misled people.
Todd Howard, Bethesda's director, had said that there will be two larger games that are going to come out before "The Elder Scrolls 6." When the games are out, then fans will understand why it took so long for the release of the sixth installment.
