Disney's "Big Hero 6" is inevitably continuing the story of brothers Hiro and Tadashi, but the real question is when this will happen and what story could there be for the audience. Details for the new movie, currently dubbed as "Big Hero 7," remain elusive but that doesn't stop some group of fans to speculate what will happen next to Hiro and his superhero friends.
For a while now, there have been several reports suggesting that "Big Hero 7" will bring back an important character - Hiro's big brother, Tadashi. It can be recalled in the original movie that Tadashi, who created robot Baymax, died during an explosion.
However, his body was never found, which led to speculation that he must be alive. Most of the reports circulating about "Big Hero 7" suggest that something happened during the explosion that changed Tadashi. It is rumored that Tadashi did not only survive but will also come back as a villain.
If indeed Tadashi comes back in "Big Hero 7" as a villain, it should serve as an interesting conflict for the brothers. It is expected that Hiro might fight against his brother but this conflict will be short-lived because eventually, Tadashi will realize that he needs to side with the good.
Meanwhile, there are also reports suggesting that "Big Hero 7" will take the story before Baymax was ever made. This means that Tadashi will indeed return but as a younger character during Hiro's childhood.
The "Big Hero 7" conflict lies in the growing up years of the two brothers, wherein according to the manga, Tadashi has always felt a pang of jealousy towards his younger brother for being the smarter one despite being young. However, Tadashi has learned to ignore this emotion as he grows up and devotes his time to creating Baymax.
Since plot details of "Big Hero 7" have not been announced, fans should take these reports with a pinch of salt. The animated film is expected to hit theaters sometime in 2018.
