Every year EA comes out with a brand new “FIFA.” Each year it's a mix of roster updates and minor improvements. And while the FIFA franchise long passed Konami's Winning Eleven series in sales, that doesn't mean EA shouldn't keep making the game better. We've already gone over the details we need to know, now here's a list of improvements we'd like to see.
Ball Tweaks: The in-game ball physics need to get better. Passing the ball to another player makes a louder sound than it does when you actually kick it or it hits the goal post.
Career Mode As Player: When you play as a manager players will give you a hard time if you bench them on a regular basis. These players might then ask to leave or might refuse to sign a contract extension.
Why can't I do that in Be A Pro mode? In that mode you will get benched for crucial games during the season even when you are fit enough to play and there is no way to complain. If my players can be annoying prima donnas, why can't I?
Improved Transfer Offer Features: While EA was smart enough to introduce player + cash transfers in the career mode in “FIFA 13,” we still feel that counter offers should also have included player + cash deals so that you can request the player of your choice if a club bids for a player of your own club.
Apart from this, in the Be a Pro mode, the Pro should be allowed to discuss his wages, counter offer and negotiate to earn more because that's what players do in real life.
Another question for EA – Is the £60,000 wage the maximum a player can expect while playing in a club. It’s pretty weird that I made switches with my player from Real Madrid to Bayern Munich to Inter Milan, and all this while this £60,000 never increased.
Offline LAN Mode: EA needs to bring back the offline LAN option. Not everyone has a stable internet connection.
No More Weird Celebrations, Please: I understand that no game is bug proof and glitch free, but it’s actually pretty irritating to see the player circling another player seemingly forever when a goal is scored. Why is he circling him like that? Please fix this, EA. KTHXBAI.
