"Divergent" actress Shailene Woodley was arrested due to criminal trespassing. She was arrested while having a peaceful protest and now facing two months in jail with $3,000 in fines.
According to Just Jared Jr. Shailene Woodley was with three others namely Kendrick Sampson, Ezra Miller and Jaden Smith. The three protested together with many others against Dakota Access Pipeline to support the Climate Revolutionary rally held at Levitt Pavilion Mac Arthur Park in LA.
Shailene pleaded not guilty for the criminal trespassing in North Dakota courtroom last Wednesday. She was not physically present but she was represented by her attorney Alexander Reichert. She believed she was arrested because she was able to record a video of the protest which has been viewed by 40,000 people and of course she was famous.
Meanwhile, HofMag wrote that Shailene Woodley will be very much interested in doing another "Divergent" movie and she did not sign for "The Divergent" series. She also clarified that she was being happy doing that kind of protest.

Like everyone else she also does trespassing and she accepted it. Shailene celebrated her activism and she was even honoured for her activism by the Environmental Media Association. She also urged people to live a more compassionate life and to think more about the environment.

Shailene added that it's not about helping the environment, but it's more about recognizing that she also wanted her children to live a life with a beautiful nature or even oceans. It's not about saving the earth, but it's more about recognizing that the younger generation has the right to live a life with a beautiful nature and a healthy environment.
