For whatever reason, Focus Home Interactive's "Farmining Simulator" was a runaway hit for the PC audience, so much so that developer Giants Software is porting the game over to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
As if the world of farming couldn't get anymore exciting (heavy sarcasm), the console ports are getting exclusive content in the way of new vehicles and farming equipment, like the Case IH, Lizard, Ursus, Kramer, and a bunch of other things I don't think I've ever seen outside of Pauly Shore's "Son In Law."
As a press release explains, "As big as the original environment of Farming Simulator on PC, this new playground exclusive to the console version doubles the world of the game. Inspired by typical American farms, this big new land offers a real new scenery, with new places, new opportunities of development for your farm, and even bigger fields!"
So it's all the middle of the country Kansas goodness...without actually going there. Virtual animal husbandry, crops, and keeping pesky traveling salesman looking to spend the night far away from your daughter.
"Farming Simulator" is about to arrive on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in the first week of September 2013.
