With competition getting tight, Microsoft is expected to put up a good fight and give out what it can to emerge as the top developer for computers. Recently, the tech giant held a big event in New York City where it unveiled a brand new computer with unusual features and some major updates to Windows 10.
Microsoft Surface Studio As The New Flagship Gadget
Mirror writes that Microsoft has unveiled what could be its latest flagship gadget, a new computer called Surface Studio, which is a desktop PC that can be folded to become a touch screen device. The new Surface PC comprises a wide screen display with a hinge that would allow it to be folded flat onto a desk. This new device will be compatible with most styluses and touch gestures and can also be connected to an external keyboard for easier typing.
While a new device from Microsoft itself is coming, a major update to Windows 10 will be rolling out very soon. Other sources even say that Microsoft might make use of its event to showcase some of the upcoming features which would include a revamped version of the Paint app which could be used for 3D drawings.
Microsoft Surface Studio Update: Changes Also Coming To Surface Book & Surface Pro 4
BGR reports that one of the most obvious reasons for throwing a big event would be to update the Surface Book and the Surface Pro 4. As of this point, Microsoft has refined their formula as to what makes their Surface Pro what it is: a device which appears as a tablet but comes with a built-in kickstand and keyboard cover which will make it function like a laptop.
Drastic changes are not expected for the Microsoft Surface. But rumors have been going around the Microsoft will be making the Pro tablet for users of the creative types and the Book towards the more traditional ones who seek the traditional experience.
Rumors have also been going around that Microsoft will be launching their own keyboard and mouse for their Surface line. A lot of changes are also expected for Windows software; more particularly that upgrades cold accommodate a host of new accessories such as the rumoured Surface Dial and other third-party creative tools.
