"Scandal" Season 6's much awaited comeback is scheduled a day before the US presidential elections. However, due to Kerry Washington's pregnancy the show's airdate has been moved next year in early 2017, Gamenguide reported.

"Scandal" Season 6 will give the viewers a time slip as revealed by TVLine. The show will portray the Republicans Mellie (Bellamy Young) and Jake (Scott Foley) has just completed their election campaign. Likewise, Francisco Vargas (Ricardo Chavira) and Cyrus (Jeff Perry) on the Democrat side had finished their program campaigns.

"Scandal" Season 6 viewers' rating is expected to mark a high score. Reports of the show's ratings revealed that season 5 garnered an average of 10.68 million viewers with a high of 12.66 million in season 4.
