The recent Microsoft Event 2016 has wrapped up its activities and now, we're rounding things up for those who were not able to join or follow the event. It's a big event, and so fans expected more announcements other than the frequently rumored Surface Pro 5. And as the dawn breaks, here are the updated information we gathered from the Microsoft Event.
The Windows 10 OS took the primary stage with various updates on its 3D features. The current Windows 10 build or as many call it, beta version was made available during the event. People who wish to try the beta version can initially download the new OS, but the final build still arrive in 2017.
The next feature at the recent Microsoft Event 2016, are the new VR headsets. They were created in order to support the Windows 10 3D project and are readily available next year for the price of $299. The headsets work as standalone devices and will certainly not rely on the support of smartphones. These headsets can also work without high-power PCs.
For Gamers, one of the best feature, the Windows 10 OS brought is the Beam feature. The Beam is an in-built game-streaming service that sends notification to players when streaming begins. Particularly, the Xbox Live feature sends notification in order for players to choose whether, they want to watch a stream on the Xbox One, the PC or a smartphone.
Yes, there's the Surface Studio that finally arrived. A little bit wary on the absence of the Surface Pro 5, but Microsoft has the Surface Studio; the Microsoft Event 2016 introduced a device with 30 percent more battery power. According to The Verge, the holiday season will see a limited edition of the Surface Studio ranging from $2,999, $3,499 and $4,199.
