Taylor Swift performs her only concert for this year in Formula One race. Thousands of fans of both fast cars and the pop star gathered into the Circuit of the Americas on Saturday night for Swift's concert of the year at the Formula One's only race on America. Taylor performs most of her songs from her last album and "This Is What You Came For" of her ex boyfriend Calvin Harris.
The reason why Formula One booked Swift to perform to their event is to hook new generation of fans to take interest in the sport in America which is long considered as an untapped market on the racing world series. The concert was scheduled in the weekend after the Saturday qualifying and before the race for Sunday. The racing president predicted as many as 40,000 would be in by Swift.
The Saturday night belonged to Swift as Usher and The Roots were also scheduled to perform after the race on Sunday night. She sang and dazzled fans that ran about 90 minutes full of her hits from her previous album, 1989. Aside from her songs, she also sang "This Is What You Came For", a great hit of her ex Calvin Harris. This only revealed that she co-wrote the song under Harris pseudonym after they broke up, CBS News reported.
Meanwhile, "Shake It Off" singer Swift, Adele and Shawn Mendes won big at the BBC Radio 1's Teen Awards 2016. Aside from these personalities, Pokemon Go app also won big award on the said ceremony. The said awarding event took place at the SSE Wembley Arena on Sunday, October 23, after BBC Radio 1's listeners have voted for their favorites in a number of categories. Some artists took the chance to perform in the said event including Little Mix and solo performance of Niall Horan, Digital Spy reported.
"Blank Space" singer Swift grabbed the Most Entertaining Celebrity award proving how much her fans love her and vote for her in the said category.
