LucasArts, Square-Enix and High Moon all recently suffered large lay-offs. In a display of unity, multiple developers have since reached out on Twitter to those who lost their jobs. "Uncharted" developer Naughty Dog and "Bioshock Infinite" developer Irrational Games, among many others, both recognized the new flush of talent without a home.
There is even a Google doc floating around the internet listing all the game studios with open positions.
While losing your job is never a fun thing to do, perhaps leaving a company as stagnant as LucasArts has been over the past few years is a blessing in disguise. Here's hoping the devs find new work quickly.
