Apple continues to make life miserable to Pangu and other hacking groups with meager updates, a reason why no iOS jailbreak has come out as we speak. That said, any iOS 10 (and above) jailbreak may not happen until the Cupertino company issues a near-perfect operating system, something that may not happen at all.
iOS 10 has been hounded by problems that include security and compatibility issues. While that may sound disappointing, it seems to have done the exact opposite since it allows Apple to make updates that befuddle Pangu and the rest. It is unlikely that Apple will stop doing so and such places jailbreakers in a pretty precarious position.
Pangu has reportedly released its latest working model of an iOS jailbreak though this is based on the first beta version of iOS 10. At the rate that Apple is releasing its updates, the cat-and-mouse game may be never ending.
Adding more problems to Pangu’s iOS jailbreaking intent is that Apple has curbed down the operating systems that they are signing per reports. Devices running iOS 10.0.2 can no longer be downgraded meaning the probability of covering Apple devices has been whittled down even more.
iOS 10.1 is the next big update expected and Pangu is likely to be keeping tabs, Gotta Be Mobile reported. It is now in the fifth beta so the best bet is that hackers are trying to see what the next big OS update will carry.
The fact that Pangu, TaiG, and individual hackers are now silent has sent mixed signals to Apple jailbreaking fans. The obvious is that no iOS jailbreak is ready for deployment with the last known iOS jailbreak being iOS 9.3.5. There are some hackers like Lucas Todesco who have shown off videos but the fact that they cannot share it with the public makes them unreliable to look forward to.
