The trailer for the Netflix revival of "Gilmore Girls" is here, almost ten years after the original installment came out. A teaser on the upcoming reboot reveals how Rory and Lorelai are still doing their normal routines of the mom and daughter tandem.
What did the trailer show?
The "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" trailer, which was released on Tuesday, showed how things will be when the show returns this November 25 on streaming service Netflix. For Lorelai, she is now happily living with Luke though the trailer showed that 10 years of being in a relationship can also diminish the spark between two people in love.
On the other hand, Rory has been jumping from one country to another including New York and London. She will eventually go back to her Connecticut hometown to discover her real self.
Other characters
Fans of the original TV show can also look forward to a lot more storylines on the residents of the town. They should also look out for other exciting characters on the series played by famous actors like Melissa McCarthy, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia, Keiko Agena, Matt Czuchry and Liza Weil.
Other notable scenes on the trailer also include Edward's funeral that the fans should prepare for, a showdown of Luke and Emily and the jeans that Emily is now wearing, far from her fashion style in the original series. It has been earlier clarified that the format of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" is not similar to the TV series from a decade ago.
The upcoming show will have 90-minute segments which will showcase all seasons in a year. It is also expected to be a mix of the four seasons of the original TV show which will be aired in a six-hour streaming option on Netflix.
