"Injustice 2" is already scheduled to come out in 2017; however, game developer NetherRealm Studios and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have yet to provide concrete details regarding its development and release date. The upcoming sequel of 2013's "Injustice: Gods Among Us" hit video game has been a subject of numerous rumors and speculation all over the Internet.
Now, new reports have emerged suggesting that the game developer is currently planning to include several more DC superheroes and villains into the game. The game developer will also add new thrilling gameplay contents to make sure that "Injustice 2" will be as big, if not bigger than its predecessor.
According to the report, the fictional DC supervillain Ra's al Ghul will be included as a playable character in "Injustice 2." The highly-skilled killer has already been featured in several DC movies and TV series such as "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow;" however, his popularity has definitely skyrocketed during his appearance on "The Dark Knight" film franchise.
There are speculations suggesting that Ra's al Ghul's role in "Injustice 2" might be different from how people have known him. Rumor has it that he will become Batman's ally in the highly anticipated sequel as they work together to defeat Superman. As of the moment the game developer has yet to confirm the rumors; however, many fans believe that Ra's al Ghul is certainly going to be an interesting addition to "Injustice 2."
Meanwhile, game director Ed Boon has recently teased fans on Twitter suggesting that another DC character will make it in the sequel. According to the "Injustice" director, Captain Cold, which is considered as one of the deadliest enemies of the Flash, will be included in the "Injustice 2" lineup.
