There are a lot of assumptions that Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) will appear in the incoming "Better Call Saul" Season 3, but there are also a lot of theories that other "Breaking Bad" characters will be seen. In fact, Bryan Cranston, who plays Walter White from the original series, teased that one more significant role will appear.
Bryan Cranston revealed at his book signing tour, "A Life in Parts," that he visited the production of "Better Call Saul" Season 3. Does this mean that a still cancer-free Walter White will be seen in the coming new installment?
"Another new character coming on the show that you will recognize," Bryan Cranston hinted, per ScreenRush. However, the 60-year-old actor cleared that he is not talking about Gus Fring or Jesse Pinkman's (Aaron Paul) appearance in "Better Call Saul" Season 3.
However, Bryan Cranston still expressed his interest to be in "Better Call Saul" Season 3. "I told Vince [Gilligan], if you want me to be on the show, I'll be there in a second," he said. Although it would be quite hard to include him in the storyline unless Jimmy McGill transforms to Saul Goodman, but he is confident that Gilligan can do the work.
In spite of Bryan Cranston's interest to be included in "Better Call Saul" Season 3, he wants to preserve Walter White's final stint in "Breaking Bad." He added that he is a big believer in letting things go, although he loved his character so much, Paste reported. "[I'd] rather have fans go 'Oh, I miss that, I miss you, I miss the show, I miss the relationships,' than to have fans go 'Oh, God, is that show still on the air?'"
If fans don't see Walter White in "Better Call Saul" Season 3, Bryan Cranston might direct one episode of the show. Regarding the coming cameos, viewers should wait and see if Marie (Betsy Brandt) or Hank (Dean Norris) will be seen in "Better Call Saul" Season 3's return in February 2017.
