This is an exciting time for "Pokemon GO" fans all over the world as Niantic finally puts up the first "Pokemon GO" event. As a celebration of this year's Halloween, Niantic made an effort to spice it up a bit for "Pokemon GO," check details down below.
'Pokemon GO' Trick or Treat?
Candies, candies, candies and more candies. Just like the usual Halloween tradition of kids roaming around the neighborhood during Halloween and getting candies, "Pokemon GO" also gives fans somehow of a similar treatment.
There will extra candy rewards throughout "Pokemon GO" that players can enjoy. For example, whenever you catch, hatch or transfer Pokemon in "Pokemon GO," it will be worth twice the usual amount of candies.
To make it simpler for us "Pokemon GO" players, that means that for every Pokemon you catch will be rewarding you with six candies, every Pokemon you transfer will be giving you two candies, and every Pokemon you hatch will be providing you from 10 up to 70 candies. That's a lot of candy to be making the most out of and also, even walking with a Buddy Pokemon is worth four times the candy.
Increased Presence of Ghosts in 'Pokemon GO?'
Another sweet addition to the "Pokemon GO" Halloween event is the increased spawn rate for Ghost Pokemon such as Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar. Not only that, there will also be increased spawns for Zubats, Golbats, Drowzees and Hypnos.
