Funny or Die is putting out its own Steve Jobs biopic, "iSteve" on April 15, just days ahead of the wide-release of "jOBs" staring Ashton Kutcher. It's for this reason that Funny or Die can say they've put out the first Steve Jobs movie, and oh what a movie it will be. Check out the trailer below.
Funny or Die posted up the teaser here, where you can probably find the final "film" come release day.
Riffing off the rushed release of "jOBs" - Apple co-founder Steve Jobs only died about a year and a half ago -"iSteve" casts Justin Long as Jobs instead of Kutcher. Steve Wozniak, who got an early preview of "jOBs," criticized its misinterpretation of his and Jobs relationship. Early reviews of the movie are also calling out its tendency to glorify and sentimentalize over portraying the reality of Jobs' life.
"iSteve" is taking is to a whole new level. Can't wait.
Oh yeah, "jOBs" comes out on April 19. Almost forgot.
