The spin-off of "Star Wars Story" will unveil how Han Solo conquered Lando Calrissian and win the Millennium Falcon. A Hollywood reporter journalist, Borys Kit, as posted on his twitter account, said that the details are revealed from sources behind the scene.
The reporter also suggested that it would be better if he won the ships earlier on in the movie and then went in a different direction. On the other hand, a report in Slash Film claims that Alden Ehrenreich was signed on for Han Solo trilogy.
According to CNN News, Disney verified that the Community and Atlanta star Donald Gloven will portray the role of a young Lando Calrissian in the upcoming "Star Wars Story".
The upcoming series of the "Star Wars Story" will be centered on the earlier carrier of the famous smuggler Han Solo, who will be played by Alden Ehrenreich, wherein other particular details that emerged regarding the events are yet unfold.
There are presumptions that a new version of events will be shown in the spin-off from its original interpretation on how Han Solo won the Millennium Falcon to Lando Calrissian in a match of Sabacc- a high stakes card game.
Although the solid game was never mentioned in the movie, there is an exchange of arguments between Lando and Han in "The Empire Strikes Back" inferring how the smuggler conquered the former.
Perhaps, a "Fast and Furious" or "Cannonball Run" kind of movie is expected to be shown, though the setting is different as the "Star Wars Story" is in space. There is also an emphasis to some kind of galactic race that has been completed by Han Solo in just less than 12 parsecs and possibly, it is the Kessel Run. Great sequences of actions are also expected. Maybe, the Kessel Run is an excellent achievement, not just a kind of race in the smuggling world.
There are speculations about where the story might venture. As of now the only additional information that was known is that it will be directed by the Lego Movie Filmaking duo Phil Lord and Christopher Milles.
There is no doubt that another noble series of "Star Wars Movie" will come since the script will still be written by a mother and child tandem, Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan, who are also writers of the previous series "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi" The spin-off has no specific release date yet, but "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" will be released this December 2016.
