During a half hour set, Charlie Puth admitted in front of the sold out crowd that he was getting over the flu but still able to perform his biggest hits "We Don't Talk Anymore" and "One Call Away". Sadly, the flu got worse and the singer lost his voice, causing him cancel shows. Puth's Instagram post in a doctor's office with the caption, "Damn", is proof enough that he hasn't been in the best of health.
On Sunday afternoon after battling with the flu, Puth tweeted an important message for his fans that he had to put the brakes on his "Don't Talk Tour" and need to recover away from the stage and to stop performing. The 24-year-old singer admitted that he have been extremely sick and haven't taken the time for his body to rest.
The cancellation is difficult for Puth as he said that it's the last thing he wants because he loves being on the road performing and meeting every one of his fans as reported in Hollywoodlife. Charlie Puth announced to his more or less 800,000 followers how thankful he is and how his fans gave him a reason why he can do what he loves most for a living. Ultimately, he assures fans that he will come back to the stage sooner.
Charlie promised that he will do whatever it takes to make it up to his fans. He also claimed how much he loved his fans and how deeply sorry he is but for now healing is his priority. According to a report in Eonline, Charlie shared on Twitter, "I promise I will do whatever I can to make it up to you." He added, "I love you so much. I'm deeply sorry."
