Things are heating up in "Once Upon a Time" as Emma deals with her role as a Savior and the prophesy of her impending death. In the ABC show's upcoming episode 6, Emma will try to convince Aladdin to help them while Hook will get abducted by a mysterious man.
"Once Upon a Time" Season 6 episode 6 will provide viewers with a look at Hook's (Colin O'Donoghue) past as he plunges down 20,000 leagues under the sea to meet an iconic character. Titled "Dark Waters," Captain Nemo (Faran Tahir) will make an appearance in the said episode, according to episode spoilers posted on Spoiler TV.
However, Hook's underwater trip may pose a danger to the said character's life since Captain Nemo will hold him captive inside the Nautilus. It appears that the legendary captain will need Hook to complete a certain mission for him.
Regina (Lana Parrilla) is set to rescue Archie (Raphael Sbarge) from her alter ego, the Evil Queen. Archie was turned into a cricket and kept inside a cage in Zelena's house (Rebecca Mader) during the ABC show's previous episode. Regina will enlist Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and David's (Josh Dallas) help to save Archie.
Episode 6 will also feature Emma's attempts to convince Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz) to help Jasmine (Karen David) save Agrabah again. As a Savior who gave up the said role in exchange for a less stressful life, Aladdin appears to be reluctant to do his share in saving Storybrooke residents.
Meanwhile, showrunners have decided to focus on the Savior mythology for the ABC show's Season 6. In an earlier press event, co-creator Adam Horowitz explained that they wanted to explore the said storyline, in contrast to the previous season that featured a look at the Dark Ones.
The showrunner also teased of the appearance of old and new Saviors and how the said role has affected their lives, E!News quoted Horowitz as saying. He stated, "This year, we're really trying to explore Savior mythology and what it means to be a Savior."
