Gangster drama "Peaky Blinders" will start shooting its fourth season next year. The BBC Two television series is expected to air by fourth quarter of 2017.
Fans of the show are excited to find out how it will progress after a cliffhanger that showed members of the Shelby family being escorted to their detention cells. It also revealed the betrayal of Tommy Shelby on his relatives.
How things will change?
Asked about how the plot will go for "Peaky Blinders" Season 4, Cillian Murphy said what his character did has changed everything. "I think his family think that he's betrayed them. It'll be up to Tommy to demonstrate to them that he hasn't betrayed them and that he has a bigger plan," he added.
The main actor said the things to look out for in the show are the efforts that he will do win the trust of his family. It will also proceed with what will happen next to Shelby's relatives.
As for the goals of Tommy in his life, Murphy explained that his character will continue looking for opportunities which will help him achieve a lot of things. Shelby has always been known to be a passionate man who works hard for what he wants.
Filming and Air Dates
"Peaky Blinders" Season 4 is expected to begin shooting episodes in March 2017, Murphy revealed. The earliest possible air date of the upcoming instalment of the series is autumn of 2017.
It will be another long period of waiting for "Peaky Blinders" fans who needs to be patient for another year for Season 4. The waiting time could be the same as the period between the release of Season 3 and the end of Season 2 which was a year and a half.
Overwhelming support
The show has gathered a following of fans who loved the gang-based plot of the TV series. Murphy said the support of the fans in various parts of the globe has been "overwhelming." He claimed that the series is not only loved in the United States but in Australia and Poland also.
